Gorgeous festive shoes from Chantana! The fabric of the shoes is the so-called traditional festive shoe red, beautiful and wonderfully lively! The festive shoes feature two diagonal diamond ribbons as decoration on the upper. More fine details can also be found on the edges of the insoles, with silver sparkle. Beautiful festive shoes!

Chantana has earned the Design From Finland label; the shoes are designed in Finland but manufactured abroad. According to the brand’s own description, Chantana shoes are comfortable and fashionable, with nice details tailored for the Finnish foot. The merchant sisters certainly agree with this!

NOTE. Please note that although this model also has diamond ribbons as decoration on the upper, this model is not Chantana’s wide last but is narrower and a bit more pointed. It has a medium-wide last but is not as wide as the round-toed wide last models with the same decoration.

Maria the merchant’s medium-width feet – details:

• Not a high instep and not a low instep
• A “flipper” shape, meaning the toes are almost equally long, with no pronounced curve at the toe line 😊
• A slightly rounded toe box suits best; very pointed shapes often don’t have enough room for Maria’s big toe
• Usually wears size 43, with a medium-wide G last or a wide H last
• In barefoot shoes, typically size 42, because there’s enough room for the toes
• Length of the longer foot 26.8 cm
• Width at the ball of the foot 11 cm

Size 42 fit Maria’s foot but was very tight. In terms of length, 42 would probably have been good, but not in terms of width. Size 43 felt good in width, but the length was a little too much. A half insole or gel pad could help make the size fit better, since the toe is closed and not open, so the half insole would remain hidden. Beautiful shoes!
